A closer look at the upper falls
The upper falls are one of my personal favorite places on the mountain. The joyful sound of leaping water is as clear and distinct as the water itself. The cliffs provide a whole series of hanging microgardens, each different from its neighbor, each shaped by the amount of water that splashes onto it from the leaping cascade.
