About Crystal Oak

There are some HUGE rays in the tank.  The diver started hand-feeding them, which was quite impressive.  I kept putting down my food and turning on the camera.  By the time it was ready to go, the shot I'd seen was gone.  I'd sit and wait for a few minutes, then put down the camera and start eating.  After all, I was hungry.  And that's why I'd come.  But then another great shot would come along, and I'd grab the camera again.  But of course it'd put itself to sleep, and I'd have to poke at it to bring it back to life.  Then I'd have to reconfigure it to not flash, or you'd see nothing but a white sheet of glass.  Then I'd try to take the shot, only of course it was already past.  So you're not seeing the 15 or so really dull photos of what it looks like 30 seconds AFTER the action is over.  But I did get a couple of okay shots.  Kind of fun to be dining with the soggy crowd!
