I know that you won't be able to see all of this picture at once. I decided to keep a narrow slice of one photo that I took to show you what it's like to try & surf here. There are canoes coming & going. There are so many wanna-be surfers that it's almost impossible to get on or off a wave without running over someone -- or becoming someone else's roadkill. The kite surfers hang in the waves just outside of everyone else. A few years ago I'd see windsurfers, but now they seem to be mostly gone.
I did rent a board and try surfing myself. I got up a few times, and I loved being in the water. Still, I'm beginning to suspect that my time for new sports has come and gone. I'm better of sticking with the ones I know. But kite surfing does look awfully interesting ...
