About a mile & a half down the beach I found the place where the kites were being launched. It gave me a way to look at them on the beach, and watch them take off. The board looks a LOT like a wakeboard. So it looks to me like this is wakeboarding without a boat. Cute trick! And these guys get GREAT air off of waves, because when they go up they can hang from the kites.
